His design allows for a wide range of wire adjustments to fine-tune the tip opening for individual preference. The reeds are finished with cotton thread and sealed with all-natural beeswax. About Benjamin Greanya: He enjoys an active and varied freelance career in the Baltimore-Washington DC area. He is principal bassoonist of the Annapolis Symphony and a frequent guest with the Kennedy Center Opera house orchestra. In the 2013-14 season, he served as acting second bassoon with the Baltimore Symphony. He performs with the Inscape Chamber Orchestra, with which he appears on four recordings on the Sono Luminus label. He holds a bachelor's degree in music from the University of Michigan and a master's degree from the New England Conservatory of Music.
