Wheelthrown porcelain mug with color-changing Alexandrite glaze, white interior glaze, and inlaid hand-carved pattern.
This glaze is dichroic, which means it changes color depending on the type of light that hits it. It is purple in daylight and LED light, and gray or blue in different fluorescent lighting, and pinkish purple in incandescent light. You can see an example of this glaze in different lighting in the last photo.
